A Direct Manipulation User Interface for Querying Geographic Databases

چکیده
This paper presents an architecture for a direct manipulation user interface for browsing and querying geographic data. This interface provides users with a high level object oriented conceptual view of the underlying database, independent of the database's native data model. It lets users manipulate diierent representations of a single georeferenced entity, thereby adding a new degree of exibility to querying facilities.
